As the Social Media Specialist at MOTUS Creative & Analytics, I created content for and managed accounts for eight clients on mainstream social media platforms. In line with this, I assisted with the editing of video content. Additionally, I supported my team by lending my hand at copywriting, building press releases, email newsletters, and blogs.

About the Brand

The MOTUS Creative & Analytics team is comprised of fitness industry experts who have a passion for taking the industry by storm with the implementation of strategic marketing plans, propelled by data and insight into consumer personas, to set their clients apart from the competition.

My Role & Strategy

With each client I worked with, I sought to highlight the key differentiators for their brands. From child care services to meditation rooms, adjoining spas, or unique classes, I sought to highlight what made them attractive — sometimes, that even meant getting to know and encouraging the owner to share his messages on social media through video format.

The Work

Among the many brands I worked with, one of my favorites was Fitness1440. The key differentiator was clear from the start — their passionate and beloved owner, Nelson, was the heart of the facility. Much to my delight, he was keen to connect with us, sending me videos to edit as necessary to incorporate them into his social media presence. This strategy came during the rise of video content on social media. I noticed early on that more video meant more engagement. Even though this was a new trend on Instagram, I continued to pursue it and advocate for its implementation, leading to wider spread incorporation of video into our clients' strategies.
